6:35 a.m.

Throw Squeem away. Put skinny jeans on (the ones from 4 years ago). They fit. Take off skinny jeans and scratch head. Put them on again. They are loose on me. Need to confirm – get bikini out of bottom of drawer – the one with the really skinny string ties on the sides and not much fabric covering bum. Stand in front of mirror. Not bad! Turn sideways. Not bad!!

6:48 a.m.

Take bikini off. Shut bedroom door, lock and shut bathroom door. Lock. Stand on scale, naked. Take deep breath and look down. See blinking digital numbers. More head scratching. Down 5 pounds. Not bad!

7:00 a.m.

With madness of life of past years, sleep not so good. Slept through night. Feel awesome, ready to roar.

7:03 a.m.

Drink water/lemon/sea salt mixture. Have light pre-workout nosh – full fat plain yogurt with blueberries. Ready to train.

7:35 a.m.

Workout in jog bra and Rogiani capris (the ones that sit low and not nice to wear if tire over stomach). Notice back flab at waist is disappearing. No tire. Damn age! Harder to remove as we get older but it’s going. Take that sugar! Take that and get out!

7:37 - 8:09 a.m.

Cardio/tramp/skip/jump/sweat session very good. Very sweaty.

8:09 am to 8:57 a.m.

Glute training session. Circuits, sets and reps for bum. Must keep perky or else.

9:00 am to 9:30 a.m.

Answer emails, do interview. Write whilst drinking awesome Citrus Smoothie recovery drink.

12:45 p.m.

Chewed through pile of salad greens just like rabbit did in my garden. Feel at one with earth, almost. Feel energy vibrating in veins and head. Used to be headaches – not any more. Time to move mountains (at least I think I can).

3:30 p.m.

Pile of greens in stomach – gone, vaporized, poof. Time to eat again. Hummus and veg. Better now. No brain fog, mental mire. Feeling very creative. Can write hundreds of thousands of words. Go!

6:45 p.m.

Hungry! Good hungry though. Time to fill self with protein, fat and veg carbs. Still have energy. Walk dogs and jog most of way. Dogs don’t walk slow. Oh! Have to pull one out of water. No problem. Delts popping, biceps bulging, triceps ripped – can do superhuman stuff when not bogged down with sugar.

10:00 p.m.

Time for bed. Good day. Striking Sugar makes nice people. Reading lovely emails from Sugar Strikers all over world. Want to visit Sue in England, Marsha in Australia and Mike in South Africa – Mike?? Oh! Have thought about not being single anymore. Sigh! Was dreaming.
