The buzz about my new Spring Cleanse is heightening. Questions come in daily. Interest is at an all-time high! You are very curious to know more and this is your opportunity to have all those questions answered. I’m happy to share.
Some of you want to know if the meal plan and recipes allow for a vegetarian lifestyle. You know I am a big believer in eating vegetables, so they get a hefty representation, vegetarian or not, but we have created the meal plan so it can be Meat Free, Dairy Free, Grain and/or Gluten free. If any or all of these appeal to you, you can alter the general plan. We have provided the substitute recipes to accommodate you.
A query came up about the recipes and we can all remember some not so successful results from the Fall Cleanse. This time around, not only did Dr. Rachel Corradetti, ND, and I, test the recipes but we had our fearless Eat Clean Ambassadors test them for us, too. It was grand to have this support from the Ambassadors because they made suggestions to improve and slightly alter some of our creations and have made them perfect and foolproof for you.
One of the suggestions is in relation to the Chia Seed Pudding recipe. Using the basic one we released in the Fall Cleanse we made some tweaks. We found that commercial nut milk made for an inconsistent result. Home made was far better since it is fattier and less watery. But not all of us have the luxury of being able to make nut milk every few days. To allow for this we added full fat, plain, thick Greek yogurt, which helped increase the nutritional value but also made a consistently thicker pudding. Such changes help us all be more successful.
The official launch date for the Spring Cleanse is April 11th, with the Grocery List being released on April 7th, so you can prepare yourselves appropriately. However, those who purchase during the pre-sale period starting Monday will have exclusive access to my 5-day Juice Cleanse for FREE! We have kept the price consistent with the Fall Cleanse pricing, offering the full 4-week program at $59.99. Remember that 4 weeks of cleansing is the optimal time required for a thorough cleansing out and reset of the internal organs. Know that we have used in-season ingredients specific to the months of March, April, and May.
Finally, you want to know what a sample day of eating looks like. I want you to feel completely confident with your purchase so here it is! One day of Spring Cleanse eating for your viewing pleasure.

Wish I could get my hands on it a little sooner before it starts. Life is chaos right now. Working crazy hours that I just can afford to turn down plus it will give me the money to do this. Can’t wait.
Hi Kathy.
I hear you. Life is funny that way. For those who have ordered the Cleanse, the grocery list will be released on April 7th and we begin on April 11th.
Glad to have you aboard.
Warmly,
Tosca
Hi Tosca! I see the cleanse will begin on April 11 and thus end on May 8, correct?
You’ve got it Virginia. We’re having it end right in time for Mother’s Day.
What is the cleanse timeframe?
Hello Virginia.
We have launched the pre-orders already. But we will release the shopping list to those who have purchased, on April 7th and the Cleanse starts on April 11th.
So exciting to be doing this again.
Warmly,
Tosca
Is the cleanse doable with shift work? I work 2 12 hour days and then 2 12 hour nights, with 4 shifts off in between. I find night shift difficult food wise as I am either starving and tired which leads to carb cravings or I have no appetite at all.
Please do not suggest I stop working shifts as every other nutritionist and trainer has said this to me, instead of trying to work with me! This is my job and for several reasons I cannot change it right now, I am the main income for the family.
I would love to join!
Hi Lynne,
I would suggest you pack whatever you need, before you leave for work (or the night before if that works better). Make it even more simple by putting anything that should be hot, into an insulated container, so you don’t even need to worry about warming it up.
Containers are your friends! You can even pre-pack for the days ahead, stuff that will keep. 🙂
Amanda
Lynne, during the fall cleanse, the recipes often made quite a number of muffins, pancakes, hummus etc. everything froze really well. You also don’t have to make every recipe. If there are several different muffins in week one, make one set of muffins, freeze them, and take out the one flavor of muffin every time you see it in the menu. Same with soup, even hummus. Freeze everything you can in single serve containers, and thaw as needed for your meals at work. The key is read the week in advance, pick the recipes you are going to use, make a lot, freeze in same containers, (and remember to pack it 🙂 before you leave. You can do this!
Whoops. SMALL containers
Thank you for all the advice!! It is greatly appreciated! I do pack my meals the night before, so if I batch cook and freeze what I can I should be good!!
Lynne and Ladies. I’m happy to see this kind of interaction. It’s helpful to help others, so thank you Amanda and Megan. And you are right!Do eat on repeat if that makes it easier for you. Shift work is difficult for managing eating schedules. I am sure you can do this!
Much success,
Tosca
You can eat the meals in the order you need to fill you day. Just alternate meals and snacks. Are you familiar with Tosca’s cooler system. You pack all the foods you need for the day in a cooler and take it with you. May need some cold packs in the cooler if you take things like sliced or diced chicken or other spoilables. I also recommend taking an extra snack or too. If you have to run errands after your work shift you will not be tempted to hit a drive-through. Just count it in the correct day’s meal count. The recipes will make many items you can pack, and several recipes are directed to take along convenience. Your cooler needs to be big enough to hold extra water for the “day” even if your day is at night. Makes everything so much easier. Does take planning so you pack up left overs for next day’s lunch.
Will the cleans be available in book stores? My mother and sister and I would like to participate and it may be easier if all three of us have a paper copy. Thanks!
Hello Brittany.
At the moment, this Cleanse is only available in eBook format. I am working on getting all my eBooks printed too but am not there yet. I am sorry to disappoint on that item.
However many people, once they have downloaded their eBook, save it to their desktop where it can be readily accessed. That is how I have done it.
Thank you for spreading the good word. It is fun and effective to do this with support.
Warmly,
Tosca
Hi,
Do most people start the juice cleanse on April 11th or the 4 week cleanse on that day?
Thanks so much,
Patty
I just noticed that the juice cleanse comes AFTER the 4 week cleanse. 🙂
Hello Jennifer.
Thank you for your question. I learned something about cooking a long time ago. I thought I had to be a chef to prepare delicious meals for my family but I had no chef training. When I invested in the quality of clean, in season foods instead, I found I could make these meals, training or not. What I am saying is that I cook for the love of it and not to make it as complicated as some suggest it can be. The recipes are practical ones and easy to follow and make. I will also be demonstrating how to make some of them live – so we can all enjoy them and have a video to watch too.
Although weight loss is not the key factor for this cleanse, most people, if they stick to the plan, will lose about 2 pounds a week safely.
I hope this is helpful information for you.
See you in the Cleanse, I hope!
Warmly,
Tosca
Very excited to start the cleanse. I know the grocery list is being released early. I have a comment about day 1. If we are starting on Monday the 11th, the same day the cleanse is released, the very first breakfast is cashew cream, which requires overnight soaking, yes? Participants will also need to make the hummus for lunch, the pesto for dinner and the power balls for a snack ALL ON THE FIRST DAY. Along with the grocery list, could you ALSO RELEASE RECIPES FOR DAY ONE?? It’s just a thought. But, especially for working folks and anyone who has not done your cleanse before, that’s a lot of prep for one day, if we are supposed to start the day the book is released. Those of us who did the fall cleanse and who have seen day 1 are going to be prepping Sunday the 10th! Thank you.
I believe release date is the 7th of April, and cleanse starts the 11th, so you will have 4 days to make the prep foods. We get the grocery list early. We will not be getting the ebook on the 1st day we use it.
That’s great. I misunderstood the “grocery list is released on the 7th”. I thought that meant we only saw what we needed to buy, not the entire book. Thanks, Kathy.
How are the recipes for this? Are they easy? I’m on the go and need simple prep. What is average weight loss for this? I know it’s a cleanse and more important to detox and weight loss secondary. I’m just curious. Thanks!

Hi Tosca, has the grocery list been released? If so, how do we access it if we have pre-ordered? Thank you, Gianna
