The 2016 Eat-Clean Diet 4-Week Spring Cleanse is about to begin…

The last several months have kept Dr. Rachel Corradetti, ND (my co-author) and I, busy with gearing up for the release of my Eat-Clean Diet(r) 4-Week Spring Cleanse. We’ve endured the cold weather (well, are still enduring it here north of Toronto), and have edited, revamped, tested, edited again and worked until the wee hours to get it ready for this weekend.

Are You Ready?

If you pre-ordered, you’ve likely stocked your pantry and prepared a few recipes ahead of time.  Maybe you even cleaned out your fridge, like Eat Clean Ambassador, Amanda Baker.  I admire that commitment!  My fridge is on deck for a cleaning this afternoon too. I am currently soaking nuts to make my own nut milk and have more ingredients lined up for further food prep.

Don’t worry if you haven’t pre-ordered,  you can still do so, and you can get started with us at any time. Some of you have expressed a concern that you may not be able to start tomorrow.  Don’t worry.  Pick your 4 week time slot and fit it into your calendar as you see fit.

What Can You Expect?


Answers to Questions: The next week will likely be full of questions. We will do our best to answer these on the private Facebook group as well as here on the blog. As you can imagine, we get a lot of questions, especially in the early days, so please be patient with us while we get to your responses. The community here is wonderful at helping each other out, but if you don’t hear from the community or from us within a few days then please email [email protected] and we’ll help you out.

Support: We are here to support you through this transformational, 4-week challenge. We will spend most of our time on the private Facebook group where you can expect chats, videos, and more from us.

Change: Yes, change will happen, and it can be tough. We are here with you to help you through. Don’t give up!

How to Download Successfully.

I am a low-tech, no-tech kind of woman, I admit it. The easiest way to view your gorgeous (yes, it is gorgeous!) Spring Cleanse download is to be sure to download it fully. Then save it to your Desktop where you can easily access it on a daily basis. That is how I do it and it works beautifully.

Some of you prefer the hard copy version and for now, if you want it, the eBook can be printed out.  I would only print out the recipes and exercises to save some poor old trees.  We are working on a relationship with Amazon so that in future we can have them print and distribute for us.

Don’t like Nettles, or Figs, or Cranberries, or Something Else?

Admittedly you will experience some foods that you won’t like. Don’t worry. Dr. Rachel is the pickiest eater on the planet, too! We usually offer substitutes. For example, if you don’t like nettles, don’t know what they are or aren’t willing to try them, use dandelion greens or spinach. It’s ok. As long as you aren’t reaching for junky foods, you will be fine. If in doubt, hop onto the Cleanse Facebook page and post there. Folks are so supportive and willing to help, someone will help you out in short order.


Vegetarian? Vegan? Other Restrictions?

Make this work for you. We have not made adjustments for every single dietary restriction, mainly because it’s impossible to include every single one. We highly encourage you to make this work for you. Take a look at the NO List and stick to that when making food choices, adjust the recipes to suit your needs, and, if in doubt, ask.


To Eat on Repeat or Not to Eat on Repeat?

Some of you have expressed that you are creatures of habit and don’t mind eating the same foods over and over.  I am a lot like that. However if I created a Cleanse with the same recipes to be eaten day after day for 4 weeks, I don’t think I would be doing my job of serving you.  While we are eating and cleansing, we might as well learn how to prepare some delicious new recipes too.  So pick and choose what you like, eat on repeat if you want or follow the Cleanse to a T, the results will be the same – fantastic!


Still Not Sure You Want to Join?

I know making this decision can be a fearful one. It’s hard to know what to expect. How much time food prep will take. What are nettles or fiddleheads? We have all the answers and if we can’t get to you quickly enough, or don’t know something specific about your corner of the world, our Eat Clean Ambassadors or another member of the group will.


Still On the Fence?

Imagine what could be different about your health, physique, energy levels, skin, aches and pains in as few as four weeks!  Sometimes that is all we need to get started on a new path to the best version of ourselves we wish to be.  One Cleanse participant shared, “I had no idea how burdened I was by my poor eating habits.  Taking the foods I thought I couldn’t live without, like potatoes, made me feel like a new, happier woman.  If 4 weeks of cleansing can do this for me, think of what a lifetime will do! I’m so in!”
