Strawberry Probiotic Limeade
Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 cups Steeped and cooled GREEN TEA
- 1⁄2 cup MANUKA HONEY
- 1 cup Fresh STRAWBERRIES or MIXED BERRIES
- 1 1⁄2 cups Fresh lime juice – about 10 limes
- 4 cups Kombucha – you can use a fruit flavored or plain version of Kombucha
Instructions
1. Combine green tea and berries in a medium saucepan.
2. Let simmer until fruit is soft – several minutes.
3. Remove from heat and blend berry mixture in Vitamix or other blender, until a smooth liquid results. Set aside.
4. Juice limes.
5. Combine lime juice with berry mixture.
6. Before serving combine chilled lime/berry mixture with Kombucha.
